THE HAPPINESS CLUB

FLAG 500 EVENING The Nelson Happiness Club held another successful Flag 500 evening last Thursday night in the Civic Tea Rooms. The top score was 16 flags after 33 games had been played, the winners being Mrs North. Mrs Scully, Mrs Kitt and Mrs Edmondson. The second prize was awarded to Mrs Lowry, Mrs Stafford; Mr Fitzsimmons and Mr Stewart with 15J flags. The travelling prizes were won by Miss Coleman and Mrs Wadsworth. The special table prizes went to Mr and Mrs Baldwin ancl Mr and Mrs Wadsworth. The special pirze was won by Mrs Sherwood. After the cards supper was served. Mrs Clements, presiding, received an ovation upon resuming her duties. She thanked all present for their good wishes and for making the evening so enjoyable. Mrs Annear, past president, presented the prizes.
