HIGH TREASON ALLEGED
TWO GERMANS EXECUTED DEATH SENTENCE ON POLES London, Oct. 4. Moscow radio says the “Konigsberger Allgemeine Zeitung” stated that two Germans were executed at Konigsberg for high treason. One Pole was sentenced to death for attacking his German employer, another was sentenced to death for striking a German soldier, and two others were sentenced to death for setting fire to farms. ANTI-GERMAN DEMONSTRATIONS The Moscow Tass Agency says it is reported from Stockholm that German street indicators were torn down and anti-German leaflets distributed in the Norwegian towns of Goenigsvinger and Gjevik. The Germans at Skien made wholesale arrests after clashes between civilians and police.— P.A.
