NORTH SLOVENIA INCORPORATED CONSCRIPTION OF YUGOSLAVS (Rec. 10 a.m.) Rugby, Oct. 5. The incorporation of Northern Slovenia into the German Reich as from Ist October and the introduction of conscription for all former Yugoslav subjects there for the German Army and labour force was announced by the local German gauleiter. Inhabitants have to learn the German language and are expected to denounce to the German authorities all acts of sabotage and underground activities. Penalties for non-fulfilment of duties to the Reich include expulsion from homes, confiscation of property and, in grave case 1 --, shooting. -8.0. W.
