NELSON BOARD MEETS APPLICATIONS DEALT WITH At a meeting of the Nelson Land Board this week there were present: Messrs P. R. Wilkinson. Commissioner of Crown Lands (chairman). F. W. ; Gibbs, J. Creighton and A. Rowling. : Leave of absence was granted to Mr J. 1 O Regan and general sympathy was expressed with him in his illness and a unanimous motion for his speedy recov- • ery was passed. APPLICATIONS FOR LAND Applications have been received from Messrs J. R. Silcock and J. A. Mitchell for grazing rights over section 10 block 11. Reefton Survey District and sections 11, 12. 14 and 16 of the same district also section 18 block VI. Reefton S.D. and an area of adjoining pakihi land — , a total area of aproximately 500 acres. It was adjourned for one month. Area of 1 acre 3 roods block 3, Steeples Survey District. Applicant—M . D. Duncan. It was resolved to grant Mr M. D. Duncan a year to year license over 1 1 acre 3 roods in block 1, Steeples Surj vey District at a rental of 10s per annum as from 1.1.41. Section 4. block 111, Burnett Survey 'District, area 359 acres. Aplicant—A. W. Gibson. It was resolved to grant a year to year license to Mr A. W. Gibson over section 4 block 111, Burnett Survey District as from 14.11.40 at a rental of £1 , 10s per anum.
