MOUNTED TROOPS
SHORTAGE OF SADDLES Captain F. H. Grear, M.C., speaking of the work of the Nelson-Wakapuaka Troop of the Seventh Independent Mounted Rifle Squadron, stated to-day i that several people had come forward | recently to assist the troop in one way and another and he desired to thank them. He remarked that the troop at the present time were very short of saddles for their mounts, and members would be greatly appreciative of any assistance which the public might care to render in this direction.
