Campbell, the District Commissioner, opened the proceedings with a very interesting address. j The gudies had worked for weeks : n preparing all the dainty things for the fancy and sweet stalls. ! During the afternoon a play depict- ; ing guide activities and a country j I dance were performed on the lawn, j i There was also a produce stall and j bran tub. Afternoon tea and ices were j provided by the committee and the parents of the guides.
