GARDEN FETE A garden fete was recently held at "The Hayes." Stoke, in aid of the I newly-raised Stoke company of Girl ! Guides. | The company was lucky in having a fine day. Campbell, the District Commissioner, opened the proceedings with a very interesting address. j The gudies had worked for weeks : n preparing all the dainty things for the fancy and sweet stalls. ! Afternoon tea and ices were j provided by the committee and the parents of the guides.
