LOAN PROPOSAL
CARRIED BY SUBSTANTIAL MAJORITY RATEPAYERS ENDORSE BOARD’S SCHEME The Waimea Power Board’s loan proposal of £70,000 for which the poll was held yesterday was carried by a substantial majority of 502 votes out of 848 recorded, the result being: For 675; Against 173.
