TEWFIK PASHA (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Received 9th October, 9.35 a.m;) ISTANBUL, Bth October. The death has occurred of. Tewfik Pasha, the last of the Grand Viziers.-
In Turkey, the head of each department of the council was styled vizier, and the Sultan’s chief Minister-was the grand vizier. . The title was' held by the chief officer of the Mogul emperors. .
