Trouble occurred for Shirley Temple to-day, when Jack Hays,. an independent movie producer, sued the child’s parents, Twentieth Century Fox Films, and two banks for 500,000 dollars and a percentage -oi her earnings, alleging that in 1932 he had a contract to train the star.

Also to-day, at Atlanta, a youth of 10 was indicted by a Federal grand jury for the attempted extortion from Shirley Temple’s parents of 25,000 dollars.
