AVERAGE OF 3GOLBS , (United Press Association) WESTPORT, 4th October. The Buffer Herd-Testing Association held elaborate celebrations last night on the occasion of reaching a 3001 b average in butterfat for the season. This covers 40 per cent, of the cows in the district. Complimentary references were made to the rapid development of dairying in the Buffer district. The Karamea Dairy Company also celebrated the opening of a new butter factory on Friday.
