Four candidates were nominated today for the Ross-Cromarty by-election They were: Mr Malcolm MacDonald (National Government), Mr Randolph Churchill (Conservative), Mr Hector McNeil (Labour), and Dr. W. S. Russell Thomas (Liberal). Polling takes place on 10th February. SCOTTISH UNIVERSITIES Polling, which took place by post, closed to-day in the Scottish Universities by-election in which Mr Ramsay MacDonald is the National Government candidate. The declaration will he on Monday.
