THAMES IN FLOOD
ROADS UNDER WATER CONSIDERABLE ANXIETY FELT (British Official Wireless) (Received Ist February, 11.50 a.m.) RUGBY, 31st January. The recent heavy rains and the prospect of further, falls have renewed anxiety in regard to floods in various parts of Britain. A considerable rise in the Thames above Teddington was reported yesterday, and at some places the river is over the banks. In tho Medway Valley several roads are under water and are impassable.
