KING LEOPOLD’S INJURIES

King Leopold sustained a simple fracture of the sixth rib in the motor car accident when Queen Astrid was killed. There are no complications, and recovery is a matter of days. FUNERAL OF LATE QUEEN (British Official Wireless) RUGBY, 2nd September. The Duke of York flew from London to Brussels this afternoon in one of the Prince of Wales’s private aerojilanes to attend the funeral of Queen Astrid.
