The New Zealand womens’ golf championship meeting was continued at Titirangi on Saturday when the second round of the championship was decided in the morning and the foursomes championships in the afternoon. The sensation of the morning was a round of (o by Miss Oliver Kay. This constituted a record for the course, but cannot be recognised as such because it was done in match plav. Miss Kay s figures weie two better than the scratch score. The foursome •.•liampiouship went to Mrs It. S. Deighton (Titirangi) and Miss L Bailey (Victoria) who returned a card of Mi, two better Uian that of the holders, Misses Kay and Gaisford. TO DAY’S RESULTS AUCKLAND, This Day. Following are the results of this morning’s matches in the women s golf championship : Miss Kay beat Mrs Hander 9 and 7; Miss 0. Stevens beat Miss Barns Graham at the 21st; Mrs Robinson (N.S.W.) beat Miss M. Stevens 2 and 1: Mrs M. Alison beat Mrs R. Deighton 3 and 2; Mrs Wilson beat Mrs Ferguson 1 up; Miss Lascelles (N.S.W.) beat Miss Fleming 4 and 3; Miss Gaisford beat Miss MacLeod (Melbourne) 1 up. MARLBOROUGH CHAMPIONSHIPS BLENHEIM This Day. A record entry of 75 golfers is taking part in the Marlborough provincial championships, including representatives from Wellington, Christchurch. Nelson, Takaka, the Sounds and Canterbury. John Duncan (Wellington); defeating his title, had a close call in the first rduncl, Deardon of Amuri taking him to tho last green, but lie has reached the semi-final in which he plays Jeffries (Marlborough) who was runner-up last year. Other semi-finalists are Whyte (Wellington) and Henderson (Sounds). Conditions have been windy, and Whyte’s 75 has been the best card to date. To-day calm conditions are being experienced for the semi-finals and the final.

The semi-finals resulted: Jeffries beat Duncan 4 and 2. Whyte (Wellington) beat Henderson at the 18th.
