CHURCH UNION
OPPOSED BY CHRISTCHURCH PRESBYTERY (Bv Telegraph—Press Association! CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The question of church union was discussed by the-Christchurch Presbytery this morning, when a resolution was curried unanimously opposing union at present, holding: “That the time is not ripe for an incorporating union between.’ tbe Congregational, Methodist, arid Presbyterian churches, but it realises 7 that there is a call for closer co-oper- - ation.” A conference is suggested to that end.
