CREW OF SOUTHERN CROSS
FULL PAY TO END OF DECEMBER

AUCKLAND, This Day,
The Melanesian Mission authorities have decided that the whole of the crew of the wrecked vessel be granted full pay up to 31st December, and that each man be repatriated to the port at which lie signed on at the • expense-of tlie mission. Some of the men signed on in England. It was also resolved that- each man be given money to provide himself with the necessary- clothing.
