GOOD ENTERTAINMENT FOR A GOOD CAUSE
IN MAJESTIC THEATRE NEXT TUESDAY Attention is again drawn to the l entertainment to bo presented on Tuesday next at the Majestic Theatre in aid of the Plunket Society’s funds. As previously announced two one-act comedies will ho staged, and the Society is to bo congratulated on having secured the assistance of so many of the leading amateurs of Nelson. The whimsicalities of Mr Sampson an elderly, staid, and somewhat slow going old bachelor, in his efforts at "coorting” should provide' many diverting moments, while the humour and pathos portrayed uy little “’Op o’ Me Thumb’’, the drudge of a Soho laundry will prove irresistible. Miss Flett’s orchestra will provide the incidental music so necessary to the successful presentation of a composite entertainment. while those taking part in the concert items will have flic co-operation of Miss Wilding as neeompanisle. There is no charge for booking and the pian is at the Majestic Confectionery.
