CHINESE STEAMER FOUNDERS
THREE HUNDRED DROWNED

SHANGHAI, 6th December. Three hundred Chinese were drowned at Yangtse, near Hankow, when the native steamer Sientam, voyaging to thangsha, foundered. The passengers became panic-stricken on the overloaded vessel, which capsized.
