KETCH ADRIFT
NO SIGN OF LIFE LIGHTS BURNING AND ENGINES RUNNING
(United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright)
LONDON, sth December. The Marie Celeste mystery is recalled by the discovery by three Jersey fishermen of the abandoned French ketch Combresol off the Jersey coast, drifting aimlessly with all Tights burning, the engine "running, and the sails set, hut not a sign of life. The fishermen boarded the ketch and brought her to St. Holier harbour. Untouched breakfast stood on the cabin table.
Thus far the widest inquiries have not revealed a trace of the crew.
