ON EVE OF BUILDING BOOM
PENDING CHRISTCHURCH CONTRACTS (By Telegraph—Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH. This Day. A statement that Christchurch was on the eve of a great increase in building was made in the Arbitration Court by Mr J. W. Graham. Air Graham said that during the next six months tenders would be called for work involving an expenditure of £704,000. Never in the history of Christchurch had there been work for such a large sum on the boards of city architects.
