DISPUTE SETTLED (By Telegraph—Press Association) DUNEDIN, This Day. The dispute which arose in connection with the engagement of a crew for the intercolonial passenger steamer Maheno was settled yesterday afternoon. Negotiations for a settlement of the trouble were carried on during the morning between the Union Steam Ship Company and officials of the Seamen’s Union and the men concerned, but it was not until after 3 p.m. that an announcement .was made that no further obstacle would be placed in the way of securing a crew for the ship.
