SUICIDE REJECTED 'By Telegraph—Press Association) / • NEW PLYMOUTH, 27th March Deciding against a suggestion that Richard Morris had committed suicide by throwing himself under a steam roller, the Arbitration Court to-4ay awarded Morris's widow £741, the full amount claimed, as compensation from the Hawera County Council, by whom Morris was employed. Morris was crushed by the roller while working on the road. .The evidence was to the effect that he suffered ill-health, and was subject to dizzy turns. jThe driver of the roller said he seemed to -throw himself under the roller deliberately, hut other evidence was that Mjorris had shown no suicidal tendencies.
