MELBOUBNE, 10th October. Benoni has been scratched for the Caulfield Cup. Valaisanne, a candidate for the Debutante Stakes, has arrived from Adelaide, and Kavalli and Magnify have arrived from Sydney. Shajp Son. Oatendale, and Statesman are looking well and worked usefully at Flemitigton. Vaals and Black Duchess did pacing work at Caulfield. The New Zealander Waicullus, ridden by W. Lewis, won the Geelong Grovedale Handicap to-day in 1.4.3.
