Walter Lindrum and Clark MeConacliy, (he t«o brilliant billiard players of Australia and New Zealand respectively, opened another match of 18,000 up, in Wellington yesterday afternoon before a fair crowd of spectators. The position at the end of the day's play was Lindrum 1517 (in play), MeConachy 850. Lindrum made breaks in the evening of 367 (unfinished), 338; and McConachy 143, and 117. Lindrum's average was 183, and McConachy's 89. The rate of scoring was about 600 an hour.
