TROTTING CONTROL FRACTIOUS DON ZOLOCK (By Telegraph—Press Association) CHRISTCHURCII, 10th October. At to-day's meeting of the New Zealand Trotting Board reports were received in connection with the application to have the horse Don Zolock removed from the schooling list. After a discussion: it was decided to ask the owner of the horse lo arrange with Mr A. Comions, a stipendiary steward, to have an exhibition start made with, the other horses on the Auckland itrack before a final decision was reached. The remarks made by Mr W. E. Thompson, president of the New Brigh ton Trotting Club, in. which he said that the board of the New Zealand Trotting Association ha.l sought to defeat the redes under which the club acted, have been withdrawn by Mr Thompson. This statement was made when the club was considering the Free Advice case, and Mr Thompson was called upon to appear before the board to show cause why he should not be dealt with under the rules of trotting. As the result of his withdrawal the hoard decided to-day to take no further actim in the matter.
