Mr James Dunlop, in a presidential address at, the annual meeting of the Svdney Chamber of Commerce, said that, commerce and industry generally were hampered by governments] restrictions and continual pin-pricks. Those who lead the workers were threatened by drought and the possibility of stagnation in manufacturing through excessive costs ami labour troubles. It would be folly to say that all is well, hut Australia was too young and vigorous to be permanently put out of business by these troubles and would will through.
