NEARING AFRICAN COAST (Bv Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Australian & N.Z. Cable Association) LONDON, 9th June A radio from the Renown, states that the Duke and Duchess of York attended the second concert of the cruise'given by the ship’s company on the quarter deck, despite the great heat of the Gulf of Aden. Big seas were encountered in the morning and the ship was slopped so that the port seaboat which was being buffeted by the waves, might be turned in. There was a sudden and delightful change in the evening, when tiho sea' calmed. The African coast is expected to he picked up to-night.
