IRISH FLIGHT ABANDONFp. (Australian & N.Z. Cable Association) LONDON, March 25. Airship No. 34, after 19 hours, abandoned a circuit-of-Iroland flight, owing to hail and snow. TRANSATLANTIC FLIGHT. (Australian & N.Z. Cable Association' (Eec. March 27, 8.30 a.m.) LONDON, March 26. There is considerable interest in the rivalry of Australian aviators for the Trans-Atlantic flight. Hawker hopes to commence the flight from Newfoundland within ten days. Pickles formally entered the competition yesterday. He says ho thinks ho can complete the flight in 14 horns. “If we won, it would Tie a great thing for Australia,” he said. A REMARKABLE FLIGHT. (Rec. March 27, 9.40 a.m.) LONDON, March 21. A. British non-rigid machine made a remarkable flight, a complete circuit of the North Sea in most unfavourable weather. The vessel covered 1285 miles in 40| hours, the longest British voyage oversea and the world’s record for a non-rigid machine.
