MB. WILLIAM HADDOW. • The death occurred last night of one of _ Nelson's- best known citizeins—Mr. William Haddow, J.P. i\±r; Haddow was born in Scotland in 1831, and camo to Nelson- in 1863. Haddow was a member of this directorate of tlie Permanent Biiilding Society for many years- and was actually a director at the time of his death, though only a, few da.vs ago-he announced that he would not seek'reelection.
