PROTEST AGAINST IMMIGRATION.

Tlit- Duuedin I'ainlpra' I'jii.in last evening passed a resolution expressing the opinion that all assisted immigration should ceaßC at once, except, in respect of wives and children of persons who soiled from Great Britain prior to Ist June, 1909, and have settled in the Dominion; further, that the Government be urged to take such steps as will ensure, the workers in tho Old Country and Australia beiug advised that the supply of workers in the Dominion is greatly in excess of the demand.
