Free Travel For War Disabled

WELLINGTON, Wed. (P.A.)—ln response to representations by the New Zealand War Amputees Association, the Minister of Defence (Mr Jones) has arranged that, as from October 1, all war pensioners in receipt of permanent full war disability will be epabled to travel by railways dr railway road services on production of a special pass for inspection by the guard of the train or the driver of the bus. . These special passes will be issued in due course by the department to all pensioners holding Hll7 passes. This procedure will obviate the necessity of producing a P33K ticket as at present.
