Special Guard For Haigh
LONDON, Wed. (! L a.m.) —John George Haigh, the “vampire killer.” today occupies the condemned cell at Wandsworth Gaol. He will be guarded day and night by two warders, part of a team of six on special duty. They must watch every move he ina kes.
Haigh will lake his daily hour of exercise in a secluded part, of the prison yard—three-quarters during the lunch hour, while the other prisoners are inside, and the rest at lea lime.
