Flooding In Pakistan
KARACHI, Sun. (11 a.m.)—Two hundred thousand acres of the Sind had now been flooded, damaging rice crops and making 200,000 people homeless, said the Revenue Minister of Sind Province (Ghulamalai Talpur), who has just returned from the flooded areas.
He added that the situation had worsened with the breach in the banks of the Indus widening.
