Tel Aviv Check Up
TEL AVIV.—The Jewish Army drew a cordon round Tel Aviv at midnight and imposed a curfew in 30 districts.
It began house-to-house searches in a check-up on evasions of military service, says the Associated Press correspondent. Men from 17 to 40 years and women from 17 to 35 must register. Only those carrying proper military papers can go from one zone to another.
