CHOFU.» July 13. “New Zealand has every reason to be proud of her force in'' Japan,” said Lieutenant General H. C. H. Ronertson, Commander-m-Chief. British Commonwealth Occupation Force in Japan, in a farewell address to the Second New Zealand Expeditionary Force yesterday. “Your deportment over here lias been a fine example to the Japanese,” he added. “The New Zealand men and- women have set an example which has been second to none. Your influence will have it-? effect for generations to come.”
