Kensington Pairs Tourney
With 48 teams in the field and play taking place on the Kensington and Whangarei greens, the Kensington Bowling Club’s annual pairs tournament opened today. ” Weather conditions were ideal, but the greens were a little heavy after the rain. Five games of 11 heads constitute the sectional play with four wins required to qualify. Post-sectional games will be played at Kensington tomorrow. SECTION A. First Round.—Legge and J.
