NANKING. Sun. (10 a.m.).—Negotiations for the supply of arms, in return for large concessions in Manchurid, are proceeding between Chinese Communists and Soviet representatives in Poli. a large town 100 miles east of Harbin, state pro-Government dispatches reaching Nanking, Reuters reports. Though the concessions are unspecified it is stated that the Soviet would supply large quantities of weapons and ammunition.

The Communist representative, General Li Lichen, after the conference, said the Communists would expand the field of their operations and capture the remainder of Manchuria before summer.
