Although Fresh Bov is not to go to Auckland for the Cup. his owner (Mr J. Ryan)' and his trainer (P. Fergus) will make a holiday visit to New Zealand. “I entered Fresh Boy for the Auckland Cup as a compliment to the Auckland Racing Club for giving such an excellent prize,” Mr Ryan said. "I would have liked to have sent Fresh Boy over for the race, but my trainer feels that the trip is a bit too soon after his hard races in the Cups.”
