Bruce May Be Spelled
Bruce returned to Riccarton suffering from a rick he received in the running of the Harcourt Stakes. He has been nominated for the Auckland Cup, but unless lie can be given a race on the final day of file Canterbury meeting next week it is unlikely that his Auckland engagement wili be continued. His owner and trainer will decide this week-end what course to follow. It is possible that Bruce may be spelled.
