Dominion Contest

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Some remarkable scores were returned in the New Zealand Miniature Rifle Association’s championships, recently conducted throughout the country.

The A grade was won by Miss Anderson (Westmere), who was runnerup last year, with a brilliant aggregate of 300.25. Miss Anderson also won the women’s championship. R. H. Nicholl (Petone Central), with 299.27 was runner-up, followed by S. L. Luxford (Hastings) and H. Nickless (Wellington Municipal), each with 299.25, and R. E. Taylor (Cashmere), D. Robertson (Hutt) and G. Rhodes (Carterton), with 299.22. The standard was so high that plaeings were decided on inner bulls.
