Partisans Storm Slovak Parliament
(Rec. 10.0 a.m.) PRAGUE, Sept. 26. The independent Prague newspaper Svobodne Noviny states that a semimilitary formation, 440 strong, led by a former partisan leader, stormed the Slovak Parliament and searched the building for Dr Josef Lettrich, president of the Slovak National Assembly and Democratic Party leader.
Before, forcing the entrances of the building the partisans met and demanded a radical purge in Slovakia’s administration.
Reuters correspondent says Communists have been' demanding for some time the clean-up of what they term the reactionary elements in Slovakia.
