Consider Most 1 Contentious Bill

(From Our Political Correspondent) WELLINGTON, This Day.

The Labour Bills Committee of the House of Representatives met on Tuesday morning and it is assumed that the most contentious measure of the session, the Arbitration Act amendment, with its strike ballot clauses, was considered. This committee has also announced a meeting for Wednesday September 3. Activity on the Arbitration Bill, coupled with the commencement of the financial debate shows that after a long series of measures on which no strong party differences could develop, the interesting business of session has commenced.
