Opuawhanga

Owing to bad weather and members being on holiday, there was no meeting of the Opuawhanga Women’s Institute in July. There was a fair attendance at the August meeting, presided over by Mrs Huwiler. The roll call, a bath cleaner, was well responded to. The competitions for a soft toy and a felt article were won by Miss M. Attwood. with Miss M. Weaver second. Mrs Na.nkivell, who has left the district, was presented with a gift on her departure. Mrs Jordan and Miss D. Maddox were hostesses for lunch.
