Matapouri

The Matapouri Women’s Institute held its August meeting on Wednesday August 20. Mrs Woolley presided over a good attendance. Final arrangements wefe made for the 11th birthday ball. The July and August competitions resulted in 10 babies’ layettes being finalised. These are to be sent to the English link. The results of competitions were: Baby’s gown, Mrs T. Clements 1. Best programme, Mrs E. J. Bines 1. Best bloom, Mrs Morrison 1. The trading table did a brisk trade.
