Cnc new member, Mrs Hill, was welcomed into the Hikurangi Women’s InsliInte ct its monthly meeting in the Parish H".’t nn Wednesday. Mrs Rickard presided, while Mrs Farley aeled as secretary in the absence in hospital of Mrs Dinsdale. Ginger biscuits and a soft toy were the afternoon's competitions. Winners for the biscuits were: Mrs Spetrs 1, Mrs Lawson 2, and Mrs Turnbull 3. Soft toy: Mrs Hall 1, Mrs Speirs 2. • Winners of other competitions were: Mrs Hilt. Mrs C. Latham and Mrs Platt, Hostesses for the afternoon were Mcsdames Platt and Trotter.
