Kohukohu
In the absence of the president. Mrs G. Andrewes presided at the last meeting of the Kohukohu Women’s Institute. The roll-call was “Recipes.” A competition, guessing the identity of members from photographs taken when members were under seven years of age, was won by Mrs Hewin and Mrs Cobbald. The competition for best bloom was won by Mrs Hewin. An entertaining competition was won by Mrs Armstrong. Mrs L. Sharpe gave a demonstration of smocking. Mesdames Wark. D. Andrewes and F. Chapman were hostesses.
