League Trials For N.Z. Selection
(P.A.) AUCKLAND, This Day. Dates for the trial games for the selection of the New Zealand League team to visit Great Britain and France have been fixed tentatively by the New Zealand Rugby League Council. They are: Wanganui v. Taranaki, at New Plymouth, May 31; Combined Taranaki-Wanganui side v. Wellington, at Wellington, June 14; Auckland v. South Auckland at Huntly, June 14; South Auckland v. Wellington, at Wellington, June 21; Auckland v. Rest of North Island, July 5 or 9, at Auckland; West Coast v. Canterbury, at Greymouth, June 7; West Coast v. Canterbury, at Christchurch, June 28; North Island v. South Island at Auckland, July 12.
