Tel Aviv Bonks Close Their Doors*

(12.45 p.m.) JERUSALEM. Mar. 4. All Tel Aviv banks closed today, the official reason being lack of currency, says the Jerusalem correspondent of the Associated Press. Depositors withdrew about £1,000,000 yesterday, apparently fearing closure of the banks. Two of four Arabs injured when a mine blew up an RAF lorry at Akir RAF Station, near Ramluf have died. Fourteen were killed and 50 wounded in a shooting clash at Tripoli (Lebanon), between two rival political parties gathered to welcome Fawzi Kaukji, former leader of the rebel Palestine Arabs, says the Beirut correspondent of Associated Press. Troops were used to restore order.
