Kensington Full Doy Tourney
BOWLS
Thirty teams competed in the Kensington Bowling Club’s full-day tournament today. Three of them were from Auckland clubs, who had taken part in the Whangarei club's annual carnival. Other clubs represented were Portland, Whangarei and Kensington. The competition was divided into four sections and five rounds of 11 heads were played in the sectional stage. Four wins or a sectional tie were necessary to qualify. Results:—

Consolation Pairs
A consolation pairs tournament for players who did not qualify in the Whangarei Bowling Club’s full-rinks carnival was won.by L. Morton and E. Dennis. This pair scored five wins in five games. The runners-up were H. Welch and E. Woods, with four wins. * Both teams were from the Whangarei club.
