Murphy V Jones On February 22
BOXING
(Special.) WELLINGTON, This Day. It is probable that the return 'fight between Bos Murphy and the American negro, Willie Jones, will be staged at Petone on February 22. Both boxers have . signed articles and the date is being sought from the New Zealand Boxing Council. Murphy has also signed articles for a match against Cliff Hanham at Hasting on March 15. Forthcoming fixtures are: Jones v. McCann, at Petone, February 8; Jones v. Murphy, at Petone. February 22; Murphy v. R. Stevens, Petone. middleweight title bout, March 8: Murphy v. Hanham. Hastings, March 15.
